Ingredients

  • 1 cup Green Thumb Foods Protein Powder
  • 3/4 cup sunflower butter (please use a drippy, natural variety for best results)
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup  + 3tbs (if the batter is too dry)
  • 1/2 cup dairy-free chocolate chips
  • Optional: sprinkle of salt

Directions

  1. Mix everything together in a large mixing bowl. Roll tablespoon size balls onto a tray and freeze for 15 minutes before enjoying (this way they get more firm)
  2. Store them in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to 1-2 weeks.

Extras

  • make sure your nut butter is room temp and “runny”. Thick chunky nut butter won’t work as well. Add more butter and sweetener if you find your batter to be dry. If it’s too wet to roll into balls, you can add more protein powder.
  • makes 25-30 bite-sized balls
  • about 4g protein each
